In
November 2003, the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic
Violence conducted a survey of domestic violence programs in order
to determine what services were available to lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender (LGBT) survivors of domestic violence in NC. Each
program was contacted by phone.
During each call, an attempt was made to speak to the program's
Executive Director. If the Executive Director was unavailable,
another program staff member responded to the survey. Each
program's self-report is presented in order to assist survivors and
service providers in locating needed services.
